This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Aids the QA team in maintaining overall quality assurance.
• Charged with leading in-sprint automation efforts utilizing Java and Selenium.
• Guarantees that testing for all assigned initiatives is completed punctually and meets quality standards.
• Collaborates with colleagues on integration and downstream testing to ensure that no defects affect production processes.
• Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) in Claims, test automation, test data creation automation, and the definition of enterprise test strategy.
• Ensures all strategic and operational projects adhere to the highest quality by implementing industry-recognized QA methodologies and best practices.
• Manages the comprehensive roadmap for automation solutions in partnership with the development and QA teams.
• Creates reusable automation components for Pega-based and other applications.
• Guides automation engineers within the team to enhance automation outcomes.
• Develops utilities to facilitate test data automation.
• Conducts feasibility analyses and identifies potential test automation opportunities.
• Establishes the testing process and policies while defining technical solutions and tools to support the testing framework.
• Prioritizes cross-functional team collaboration, analytical prioritization, and internal testing audits to guarantee product quality.
• Ensures automation for in-sprint and regression tests within the claims program.
• Refines testing techniques to maintain the highest quality standards as per the agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Reviews functional specifications and assists in assessing test automation strategies.
• Produces quality metrics in collaboration with Release Management to deliver precise information on team performance.
• Performs additional duties as assigned or necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in the role offered or as a quality assurance analyst.
• 6 years of experience in in-sprint and regression test automation.
• 5 years of experience in test data automation with other health plans.
• 6 years of experience in the end-to-end lifecycle of claims from a QA perspective, covering claims pre-processing, adjudication, and post-adjudication.
• 6 years of experience with Talend, Selenium, Jenkins, and CT enablement.
• 5 years of experience in testing claims processes within claims systems.
• 6 years of experience with Agile methodologies.
• 6 years of experience in structured testing methodology.
• 6 years of experience with Scorecards, Dashboards, Statements of Work (SOWs), SLAs, Operational Level Agreements (OLAs), and performance management metrics.
