Senior Program Manager – Backend Operations Strategy

📋 Description

• Oversee and implement initiatives related to backend manufacturing transformation, including optimizing footprints, regionalization, cost effectiveness, outsourced manufacturing strategies, and technology transitions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Quality, and Supply Chain to synchronize program goals, timelines, and deliverables.

• Create data-driven business cases for projects such as make vs. buy decisions, geographical relocations, and capacity expansion or consolidation.

• Assist in executive decision-making by providing comprehensive analytics and scenario planning.

• Establish governance frameworks and schedules for program execution, encompassing milestone tracking, risk management, change control, and stakeholder communication.

• Identify KPIs and success metrics for operational programs, monitoring performance post-implementation to guarantee sustainability and continuous improvement.

• Develop and deliver program updates, strategic reviews, and executive-level presentations to senior leadership, focusing on actionable insights and clear outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.

• MBA or Master's degree is preferred.

• At least 8 years of experience in operations, backend manufacturing, supply chain, or program management within the semiconductor, storage, or electronics sectors.

• Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex, cross-functional programs successfully.

• In-depth knowledge of backend operations and outsourced manufacturing models (CM/ODM).

• Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities.

• Demonstrated capability to lead through influence and implement change across global teams.

• Exceptional communication skills — able to simplify complex issues and convey information effectively to both technical and executive audiences.

• PMP certification or Six Sigma/Lean experience is advantageous.
