• Design and develop innovative network connection patterns and zone segmentation strategies that mitigate risks while facilitating product scalability.
• Create scalable monitoring, alerting, and automation solutions aimed at addressing network security risks within a rapidly evolving environment.
• Spearhead threat modeling initiatives focused on network architecture, data flows, and connectivity patterns across platform services.
• Assess the current threat landscape and business priorities to effectively sequence and implement the most impactful security enhancements.
• Strategic & Technical Leadership
• Drive complex, cross-team security initiatives that have a significant impact across the product group.
• Contribute to the medium-term strategic vision for network security; proactively identify critical areas of need and formulate actionable plans to address them.

• Extensive networking expertise across hybrid environments — including public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and physical data center networking — with a focus on routing, segmentation, zone design, and traffic inspection architectures.
• Strong knowledge of protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, TLS, and applied cryptography.
• Significant experience in identifying network security vulnerabilities and designing scalable, secure connection patterns in SaaS or cloud-native product settings.
• Proven experience in developing scalable monitoring, alerting, and automation solutions for network security scenarios.
• Proficient in scripting and automation using Python, Go, shell, or equivalent languages.
• Experience collaborating with teams that develop and launch products in fast-paced, innovative environments.
• Understanding of security architecture principles throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on ambiguous, poorly-defined problems and drive them to resolution.
• Excellent communication skills — capable of leading technical discussions, building consensus, and clearly explaining complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
• A blend of confidence, independence, clear reasoning, and a collaborative approach.
• Proven experience leveraging AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
• Market leader in compensation and equity awards
