This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take charge of retention and engagement results for PlannerPlus; establish a metrics framework, pinpoint the underlying causes of churn, and address them within the product.
β’ Create rituals and moments of return that transform a one-time planning session into a habitual planning practice.
β’ Streamline complex planning features, such as Roth conversions and withdrawal strategies, for novice planners.
β’ Engage with subscribers of various ages, income levels, and financial literacy to inform the product roadmap.
β’ Conduct methodical experiments and cohort analysis.
β’ Cultivate a company-wide focus on retention by disseminating strategies, data, and success stories.
β’ In the first 90 days: familiarize yourself with the product, data, and subscribers; launch the initial experiment; and establish the retention metrics framework.
β’ By month 6: be responsible for a prioritized retention roadmap linked to root causes, with initial wins implemented and assessed.
β’ By month 12: enhance retention, introduce engagement rituals, and become the companyβs go-to resource for subscriber retention.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in B2C product management, with a focus on direct ownership of retention, engagement, or lifecycle results for a subscription-based product.
β’ Proficient in subscription economics, including cohorts, lifetime value (LTV), and payback analysis.
β’ Capable of designing experiments, extracting your own data, and assessing the validity of results.
β’ Experience in making complex or specialized products accessible to a wider audience (preferred).
β’ Background in fintech or experience working with Certified Financial Planners/advisors (preferred).
β’ Familiarity with modern AI tools (preferred).
β’ Demonstrated empathy for individuals who do not constantly focus on financial matters and a respect for the emotional aspects of financial decision-making.
