Senior Product Manager, Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement the data product strategy and roadmap that aligns with corporate goals, client requirements, and opportunities for growth driven by data.

• Create business cases and investment proposals for new platform functionalities, data services, and strategic improvements that enhance scalability, interoperability, and customer value.

• Direct cross-departmental teams to produce scalable data products and insights solutions.

• Convert business needs into data product functionalities, focusing on initiatives that yield measurable business results.

• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to create, launch, and refine data platforms, reporting solutions, and advanced analytics products.

• Perform market research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis to uncover emerging data opportunities and guide product investments.

• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for data products, utilizing analytics to evaluate performance, user adoption, business impact, and opportunities for ongoing improvement.

• Assess new data monetization possibilities, craft business cases, and evaluate financial implications for data-driven offerings and partnerships.

• Work alongside Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partner teams to grasp customer requirements and identify opportunities for data-enabled solutions.

• Create positioning for data products, articulate value propositions, and develop go-to-market strategies to boost adoption and revenue growth.

• Engage directly with customers and strategic accounts to collect requirements, validate product-market fit, and explore opportunities for innovation.

• Act as the representative voice of customers and business stakeholders, ensuring that data products provide actionable insights, usability, trust, and measurable value.

• Lead presentations for stakeholders, product demonstrations, and roadmap discussions to foster alignment, adoption, and engagement.

• Partner with Customer Success, Account Management, and Sales teams to pinpoint expansion opportunities and maximize the value of data products and analytics solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, healthcare informatics, public health, data science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, including responsibility for technical products or platform functionalities.

• Product expertise in data platforms, data products, interoperability, APIs, analytics, enterprise software, or healthcare technology.

• Experience with healthcare data within payer, provider, or health technology environments.

• Proficient understanding of healthcare data domains such as claims, eligibility, authorizations, encounters, clinical documentation, quality, utilization management, provider, member, or patient data.

• Knowledge of healthcare data exchange methods or standards, including HL7, FHIR, X12, APIs, flat files, EHR extracts, or clinical terminology.

• Capability to draft product requirements for data ingestion, mapping, validation, governance, delivery, reporting, or downstream use.

• Good judgment when navigating issues of data quality, privacy, security, compliance, permissions, and customer needs.

• Ability to communicate healthcare data concepts, platform decisions, risks, and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
