📋 Description

• Design and enhance scalable, high-performance software architectures that empower teams to deliver efficiently.

• Take ownership of the technical execution of extensive, intricate initiatives by deconstructing them into clear, attainable goals.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of system architecture and serve as a technical authority across various codebases.

• Produce high-quality, efficient Haskell code while promoting consistent engineering standards and best practices.

• Employ suitable testing methods to guarantee reliability while balancing practicality and delivery speed.

• Drive results by eliminating obstacles, directing teams towards outcomes, and minimizing wasted effort.

• Articulate complex technical and organizational subjects clearly, fostering alignment among teams and stakeholders.

• Mentor and support engineers to enhance their capabilities, well-being, and long-term effectiveness within the team.

• A seasoned engineer with a knack for designing scalable, evolutionary architectures and a passion for solving complex problems.

• Confident in owning and delivering large, ambiguous initiatives from start to finish.

• Provides deep technical insights across systems and aids others in elevating their technical knowledge.

• Pragmatic approach, maintaining high standards while being keenly aware of delivery and impact.

• Hands-on experience in writing efficient Haskell and making informed decisions regarding tooling and libraries.

• Clear communicator capable of explaining intricate concepts and engaging diverse stakeholders.

• Committed to mentoring, providing feedback, and facilitating the growth of others.

• Thinks holistically beyond code, considering product context, processes, and organizational health in decision-making.

• Collaborative with a focus on product quality.

• Experience in insurtech, insurance, or related sectors.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with distributed work environments.
