Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead the creation of user flows, interfaces, and interactions across applications, wearables, and web platforms.

• Take ownership of the user experience design from the discovery phase to launch.

• Convert user insights, research findings, and product strategies into intuitive, engaging, and scalable interfaces.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers to ensure design choices strike a balance between value, usability, feasibility, and viability.

• Produce design assets that embody clarity, accessibility, and brand consistency.

• Quickly prototype and iterate on concepts based on real user feedback and data.

• Develop scalable patterns, components, and reusable assets to enhance design execution efficiency.

• Enhance design tools, documentation, and workflows to promote team productivity.

• Define and document design principles that align with the brand, mission, and product values.

• Ensure design choices facilitate product scalability, consistency, and long-term maintenance.

• Collaborate with User Research to embed consumer insights throughout the product lifecycle.

• Work with Wellness Researchers to translate scientific insights into user-centered interactions.

• Present work to stakeholders with clarity, empathy, and data-informed reasoning, linking design choices to user and business outcomes.

• Champion user needs, accessibility, and design excellence across product, engineering, and business teams.

• Collaborate with marketing, content, and brand teams to maintain a cohesive product narrative.

• Mentor and support junior designers, enhance team skills, and cultivate a culture of design critique, storytelling, and collaboration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 6–10+ years of experience in UX or product design, preferably within health, wellness, fitness, or consumer technology.

• **Must be bilingual in Mandarin.**

• Demonstrated experience in designing comprehensive digital experiences from research synthesis to pixel-perfect execution.

• Capability to design across multiple platforms (mobile, web, wearable).

• Proficiency in information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and systems thinking.

• Skilled in using Figma and prototyping tools.

• Strong understanding of design systems, design tokens, and component-driven design.

• Exceptional visual design skills, with a focus on detail, accessibility, and inclusivity.

• Experience working collaboratively with product, research, and engineering teams.
