This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Book serves as the e-commerce core of Journey β the booking engine that facilitates luxury hotel reservations globally.
β’ Contribute to its evolution by outlining future booking experiences, conversion strategies, merchandising approaches, upselling methods, and essential flows.
β’ Engage in the entire process: from discovery and research to concept development, prototyping, testing, and final user interface design.
β’ Collaborate closely with product, engineering, data, and commercial teams to clarify intricate challenges.
β’ Oversee essential user journeys including search, availability, selection, checkout, upselling, and gifting.
β’ Execute both qualitative and quantitative research β including interviews, usability assessments, funnel analysis, and behavioral insights.
β’ Apply conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles, analytics, and experimentation to achieve significant enhancements in conversion rates and revenue.
β’ Develop high-quality user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and refined UI designs.
β’ Enhance and expand our design system with scalable, reusable components.
β’ Present work clearly, supported by rationale and evidence, to influence perspectives across teams.
β’ A minimum of 5 years in product design, preferably in e-commerce, B2C, retail, or transactional platforms.
β’ A portfolio showcasing comprehensive UX/UI work with demonstrable commercial results.
β’ Strong UX skills, including user journey mapping, interaction design, prototyping, and information architecture.
β’ Proficient UI design abilities, featuring a clean and modern digital aesthetic.
β’ Proven track record of utilizing analytics, experimentation, CRO, and A/B testing to inform decision-making.
β’ Comfortable designing primarily for mobile-first experiences and responsive interfaces.
β’ Experienced in conducting user interviews, usability testing, and research cycles.
β’ A systems thinker with a background in working with and contributing to design systems.
β’ Exceptional communication skills β clear, articulate, and persuasive.
β’ Confident in collaborating within cross-functional teams that include product and engineering personnel.
β’ Composed under pressure, organized, and capable of balancing detail with speed.
β’ Curious, evidence-driven, and willing to question assumptions.
