Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive experiences for Jack Westin's marketing website, from the initial ad click to the final purchase or scheduled advisory call.

• Conduct thorough research on the market, customer behavior, analytics, support inquiries, student interviews, and competitive analysis to inform design strategy.

• Enhance visual quality and establish a cohesive, high-end visual language throughout the site.

• Design with an American audience in mind, utilizing the appropriate tone, imagery, and trust indicators.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing design system for use by developers and graphic designers.

• Collaborate with the copywriter on titles, labels, microcopy, and form text.

• Address conversion issues such as inconsistent calls-to-action (CTAs), lengthy booking forms, and underperforming pages with high traffic.

• Suggest and evaluate A/B tests in cooperation with the performance marketer and refine designs based on data insights.

• Deliver implementation-ready designs to the WordPress developer, including states, breakpoints, and edge cases.

• Create templates for blogs and editorial content that support SEO strategies and enhance the reading experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of experience in designing marketing websites, landing pages, or subscription and e-commerce funnels.

• A premium-quality portfolio that showcases the depth of your work.

• Capability to articulate why a project is effective and present work that meets the standards of top-tier clients.

• Proven results, including at least one case study demonstrating before-and-after metrics.

• Exceptional proficiency in both written and spoken English.

• Strong instincts tailored to a US audience.

• Familiarity with GA4, heatmaps, or session recordings.

• Experience using AI in your workflow and the ability to explain its benefits and limitations.

• Quick and independent learner, able to adapt to a new industry swiftly.

• Understanding of the MCAT, the student demographic, and the competitive landscape within the first month.

• Ability to thrive in a small, distributed team environment.

• Nice to have: experience in designing for WordPress or page builder platforms.

• Nice to have: proficiency in prototyping through code or AI-assisted development tools.

• Nice to have: background in education, test preparation, or other high-consideration purchasing categories.

• Nice to have: experience in editorial or publication design.
