Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the creation of innovative digital solutions for federal clients.

• Collaborate with management, engineering, and product teams to define the design vision and strategy.

• Guide cross-functional teams in delivering impactful design solutions that align with client objectives.

• Partner with clients to pinpoint key challenges and prioritize user-centered outcomes.

• Oversee the design delivery process, ensuring quality and compliance with client expectations.

• Act as the primary design liaison for stakeholders.

• Utilize extensive knowledge of user-centered design methodologies to lead iterative, outcome-driven development.

• Mentor and coach junior designers, promoting their professional development.

• Ensure design processes and deliverables adhere to relevant standards and regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree along with 7+ years of pertinent experience.

• Advanced proficiency in content design skills, including plain language, inclusive content, concise writing, and content strategy.

• In-depth knowledge of UX processes and craft skills.

• Experience in addressing undefined and complex challenges with a strategic approach.

• Previous experience mentoring junior team members.

• Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Miro, Adobe, or other design tools.

• Must be a US Citizen or legal resident eligible to work domestically.

• Must be able to obtain a low-level security clearance.
