📋 Description

• Design the Zeta Developer Platform Experience: Take ownership of the comprehensive Zeta Developer Platform experience, which includes conversational interfaces, contextual guidance, and AI-driven workflows that assist users in their daily tasks across the platform.

• Design Systems Partnership: Collaborate closely with our Design Systems team to develop, maintain, and enhance scalable UX and UI patterns for the Zeta Developer Platform—ensuring consistency, quality, and adaptability as the platform evolves and more teams contribute to it.

• Partner Closely with Product & Engineering: Function as a key triad partner alongside Product Management and Engineering to outline strategy, behavior, and execution—converting intricate requirements and technical limitations into user-friendly, human-centered AI experiences. Effectively present work, rationale, and trade-offs to partners and leadership to foster alignment and decision-making.

• Advance AI Interaction & Explainability Patterns: Establish how the Zeta Developer Platform conveys intent, progress, confidence, and limitations—enabling users to understand, trust, and collaborate with intelligent systems.

• Raise the Bar on Craft, Motion, and Interaction Quality: Set a standard through exceptional visual design, interaction design, motion, and prototyping—utilizing motion and micro-interactions to communicate system status, lessen cognitive load, and make AI feel responsive and dynamic.

• Scale the Zeta Developer Platform Experience: Identify chances to standardize UX patterns, documentation, and behaviors across the Zeta Developer Platform—creating uniformity while permitting flexibility where necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience on complex platforms or systems

• Experience in designing and launching AI-powered or data-informed products

• Proven history of collaborative work with Product and Engineering teams

• Ability to influence standards, patterns, or systems beyond a single feature

• Capacity to balance craftsmanship, speed, and business impact

• Expert-level proficiency in Figma—focusing on scalable component architecture, design systems, and documentation

• Proficiency in AI design tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar, utilized as part of daily design workflows

• Experience with prototyping tools (Figma Prototypes, Framer, ProtoPie, or similar) for exploring behavior and interaction

• Knowledge of motion tools such as Rive or After Effects or similar for stateful interactions and micro-animations

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and modern frontend concepts

• Comfort working within contemporary product development tools and workflows.
