Senior Product Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Lead and manage comprehensive machine learning projects that significantly influence product growth, user engagement, and monetization, from conceptualization through to deployment and evaluation.

• Develop and sustain machine learning models for tasks such as user segmentation, churn prediction, and recommendation systems to unveil actionable insights for the product.

• Collaborate with Product Managers to convert business inquiries into well-articulated analytical or modeling challenges with defined success metrics.

• Perform in-depth analysis of user behavior, funnels, cohorts, and journeys to pinpoint growth opportunities and guide product strategy.

• Design, implement, and evaluate A/B and multivariate experiments, emphasizing revenue, retention, and engagement impacts.

• Create and uphold essential product KPIs, dashboards, and monitoring metrics to assess model performance and product results.

• Ensure precise event tracking and data instrumentation for both new and existing product features.

• Convert complex analytical and modeling insights into straightforward, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Serve as a thought leader and data expert within product teams, promoting a robust data-driven and experimental culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in Data Science, Product Analytics, or a closely related position within a consumer-oriented tech company.

• Practical experience in building and deploying machine learning models in production environments.

• Solid understanding of experimental design, statistics, and causal inference, including common challenges faced in real-world experimentation.

• Extensive experience in analyzing user funnels, cohorts, lifecycle metrics, and customer journeys.

• Proficiency in SQL and high-level skills in Python or R.

• Strong business insight with the capability to link model outcomes and data insights to product strategy and commercial results.

• Excellent communication abilities, with the power to sway product decisions through data-driven insights.

• Experience in a dynamic, high-growth startup setting.

• Capacity to handle multiple projects concurrently while upholding analytical precision.

• Previous experience in fintech, cryptocurrency, or marketplace products is advantageous, though not mandatory.
