This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform audits of procurement files before and after awards to assess adherence to CACI’s policies and federal regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and applicable agency supplements.

• Review file documentation for essential purchasing system components (e.g., sourcing/competition strategy, selection of subcontract types, flowdowns, commerciality, representations/certifications, documentation adequacy, cost and price analysis, and more).

• Evaluate compliance with regulatory standards affecting procurements, including but not limited to FAR Part 12/Commerciality, CAS applicability, TINA/threshold-driven requirements, cost/price analysis methods, and justifications for single/sole sourcing.

• Generate clear and defensible comments and findings that are ready for CPSR during the audits of pre-award and post-award files.

• Identify patterns in audits and systemic risks while proposing enhancements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective measures and minimize recurring findings.

• Offer practical guidance and coaching to the procurement team on applying FAR/DFARS requirements in real-world procurement situations.

• Assist in updating policies, templates, checklists, and training materials in response to audit findings and regulatory updates.

• Lead or provide support for projects and internal and external audits as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) along with 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement compliance, auditing, supply chain management, contracts/subcontracts, or government contracting.

• Over 3 years of experience in auditing procurement files for compliance and documentation adequacy (internal audit/compliance, quality, procurement audit, CPSR support, or similar roles).

• Previous experience in a DCMA-approved purchasing system or a similar purchasing system environment.

• Proven ability to apply FAR, DFARS, and other agency regulations to procurement actions and documentation expectations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the capability to present clear audit findings and influence stakeholders effectively.

• Exceptional analytical and research abilities to interpret requirements, evaluate evidence, and arrive at defensible conclusions.

• Capability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and uphold high standards of ethics and professionalism.
