External Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Plan and execute both on-site and remote audits of external manufacturing facilities and suppliers.

• Establish audit scope, objectives, and criteria that align with risk priorities.

• Carry out audits through documentation analysis, process observations, and interviews with personnel.

• Evaluate adherence to Nestlé standards, regulatory mandates, and industry best practices.

• Identify, categorize, and record nonconformities and associated risks.

• Develop clear, evidence-based audit reports and share findings with relevant stakeholders.

• Review and validate supplier corrective action plans (CAPAs).

• Monitor findings to ensure closure and escalate critical concerns.

• Assist in the development of a risk-based audit program and support continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field, or comparable experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, or auditing.

• Preferred experience in auditing suppliers or contract manufacturing locations.

• Familiarity with FDA 21 CFR Part 111 regulations.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and the integrity and maintenance of dietary supplement data.

• Understanding of GMP, HACCP, and quality management systems.

• Comprehension of regulatory frameworks including FDA, food safety, and dietary supplement standards.

• Auditor certification (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor or ASQ CQA) is preferred.

• Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities.

• Excellent observation and investigative skills.

• Proficient communication and influencing abilities.

• Capacity to work independently and make decisions based on evidence.

• Frequent travel is necessary.

• Required on-site presence in manufacturing settings.
