Senior Process Associate – Insurance Policy Administration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Administrative tasks based in the office to guarantee high-quality and efficient handling of administrative requests through specific analysis, sourced from various stakeholders including external brokers, end clients, and internal underwriting teams.

• Primary point of contact for all escalations involving external and internal stakeholders by addressing all inquiries within the Admin scope and determining the appropriate transfer of all other queries to the relevant departments or roles.

• Act as a bridge between Policy Administrators, Team Coordinators, and Team Leaders.

• Ensure accurate, timely, and efficient data entry of insurance risks according to client standards to achieve Service Excellence, along with general administrative tasks.

• Maintain exceptional service standards and KPIs.

• Serve as a backup for the Team Coordinator by assisting in keeping the relevant KPIs updated and preparing management information reports as requested using various reporting tools and methods.

• Engage and support process improvement initiatives.

• Contribute to technical assistance and best practices in procedures.

• Offer new ideas and support the Management Team in execution efforts.

• Be accountable for ensuring a backup for senior tasks within the admin team.

• Handle more complex and time-intensive tasks.

• Act as a reference point for technical and procedural best practices for other team members within the Policy Administration Team.

• Assist in training new staff and actively participate in the transition of new tasks.

• Maintain and update process documentation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economic studies (e.g., finance, accounting, or related fields).

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of various teams.

• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output even when managing high volumes and working under pressure.

• Inquisitive, eager to learn, and willing to challenge conventional approaches.

• Ability to organize, prioritize, and plan workload effectively to meet deadlines.

• Demonstrates personal integrity.

• Personable individual who can easily develop rapport and build relationships.

• Strong customer focus.

• Knowledge of personal culture and client management skills.

• Highly motivated with a strong willingness to learn.

• Ability to perform under time constraints.

• Experience in the insurance sector is a plus.
