Senior Principal Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the architectural advancement of the frontend into a scalable platform, which includes breaking down the monolith into modular, reusable components and systems.

• Establish and promote the adoption of frontend standards, patterns, and best practices across various teams.

• Collaborate closely with other product and platform teams to comprehend their requirements and ensure the frontend platform accommodates a diverse range of use cases.

• Lead technical initiatives across teams, aligning stakeholders and making decisions that balance individual team needs with platform consistency.

• Create clear extension points and integration patterns that empower other teams to efficiently build on the platform.

• Mentor engineers and enhance frontend engineering practices throughout the organization.

• Propel enhancements in performance, reliability, developer experience, and platform maintainability.

• Shape technical roadmaps and long-term investment in frontend architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 12 years of experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on frontend engineering.

• Profound expertise in modern frontend technologies, including TypeScript, React, and contemporary frontend architecture patterns.

• Experience in designing and evolving frontend architectures for large-scale, multi-team applications or platforms.

• Background in building and operating production systems.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the capability to effectively collaborate across teams and clearly convey technical concepts.
