Senior Principal Engineer – AI/ML

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Define intricate AI/ML infrastructure platform solutions and guide a multi-disciplinary team towards implementation.

• Engage extensively and focus through EVT, with a phased approach thereafter.

• Ensure that overall design quality standards are achieved.

• Foster and maintain strong technical relationships with suppliers and partners regarding product roadmaps and technologies.

• Oversee RFQ technical submissions and contribute to Celestica platform concept development as necessary.

• Provide insightful trade-off analysis and competitive advice to engineering teams and clients.

• Deliverables encompass System Requirements Documents (SRD), compliance assessments, and technical proposals.

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between Celestica and our clients, especially in cases of technical escalation.

• Offer technical support to business development teams to aid in securing new contracts.

• Engage in the selection and recruitment of design team resources as needed.

• Identify and advocate for process improvement initiatives as required.

• Participate in standards committees and industry groups as designated.

• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients, industry groups, tradeshows, and more.

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technology and market opportunities.

• Perform other assigned duties.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in Server and/or AI/ML accelerator hardware design.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in AI Infrastructure system design.

• Familiarity with Nvidia, AMD, and/or Intel GPU accelerators and their associated support systems.

• Proven track record in architecting and delivering server/storage/converged products to the market.

• Exceptional skills in customer presentations.

• Ability to interface and collaborate with large OEM customers on ongoing product-related challenges and new product design ideas.

• A comprehensive understanding of current digital and analog components.

• Successful experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) launches.

• Extensive knowledge of system-level power, cooling, mechanical, software/firmware, and electrical design integration, along with engineering trade-offs.
