This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Work in collaboration with Cyber teams to ensure system availability, performance, and log management utilizing enterprise tools.
• Utilize industry best practices to develop and implement automation workflows.
• Occasional travel of up to 10% (domestic) to various RTX locations.
• Typically necessitates a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience in supporting engineers with software, simulations, and hardware development.
• Proficiency in integrating and maintaining the DevSecOps process utilizing tools like Atlassian Jira/Confluence, Gitlab, Cloudbees CI (Jenkins), and JFrog Artifactory or similar.
• Understanding of implementing automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline effectively.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Solid foundation in Agile software development methodologies.
• Awareness of compliance with critical U.S. government cybersecurity regulations and standards such as NIST 800-171, FIPS, and DFARS.
• Experience in cross-platform development, particularly with RHEL (CentOS/Rocky) 8+ and Windows.
• Proficient with artifact repositories (e.g., JFrog Artifactory, Sonatype Nexus, Pulp), supply chain security scanning (e.g., JFrog Xray), and secrets management.
• Expertise in cloud deployment, virtualization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation using Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Groovy, and Ruby.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with engineers and leadership at all levels.
• Capable of working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Top Secret (TS) security clearance after starting.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
