This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +5 more states.
• Create competitive, precise, and commercially viable budgets, proposals, assumptions, and supporting materials for opportunities related to biometrics.
• Collaborate closely with Business Development, leaders in Biometrics functions, Project Management, Contracts, Finance, and Operations to facilitate new business opportunities, change orders, and strategic pricing initiatives.
• Take the lead in crafting proposals related to biometrics, budget packages, scope assumptions, and accompanying response documents for sponsor opportunities.
• Analyze RFPs, protocols, bid grids, and scope documents to pinpoint service requirements, assumptions, risks, exclusions, and pricing considerations.
• Compose and refine proposal content concerning biometrics services, deliverables, timelines, staffing models, and operational strategies.
• Coordinate inputs from various cross-functional teams to ensure proposals are thorough, precise, compliant, and in alignment with client needs and internal standards.
• Develop comprehensive pricing models and cost estimates for biometrics services.
• Create budgets for diverse service models and establish pricing assumptions based on protocol design and study complexity.
• Assess scope changes and prepare budget modifications as required.
• Act as a primary contact for proposal and pricing activities related to biometrics opportunities.
• Work in partnership with Business Development and functional leaders.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Public Health, or a related discipline is required.
• An advanced degree is advantageous.
• Typically 5 to 8+ years of pertinent experience in CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research services.
• Robust experience in proposal development, budgeting, pricing, contracts support, or commercial operations within the clinical research sector.
• Preferred experience in biometrics services such as Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, Clinical Data Management, Medical Writing, PK/PD, or similar fields.
• Required experience in supporting RFP responses, bid grids, budget development, change orders, and sponsor-facing proposal processes.
• Experience in a global CRO environment is preferred.
• Strong grasp of clinical trial biometrics services, deliverables, workflows, and resource drivers.
• Capability to interpret protocols, schedules of assessments, and sponsor requests, converting them into pricing assumptions and effort estimates.
• Advanced financial and analytical abilities, including budget modeling and pricing analysis.
• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to produce clear and professional proposal content.
• Strong skills in project coordination and cross-functional collaboration.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and intricate opportunities within a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and tools for proposal/pricing tracking.
• Familiarity with contract terms, payment schedules, and change order processes is a plus.
