Senior Portfolio Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Crafting and enhancing investment strategies and portfolios for the public market.

• Utilizing quantitative research and analysis to challenge existing assumptions and enhance results.

• Overseeing portfolio exposures, liquidity, and implementation strategies.

• Executing trades across various asset classes including equities, fixed income, futures, and other liquid markets.

• Tracking portfolio performance and discovering opportunities for improvement.

• Collaborating closely with brokers, fund managers, and implementation partners.

• Working in partnership with colleagues from Investments, Impact, Research, Risk & Analytics, and Operations.

• Contributing to the development of Future Group's capabilities in public markets.

• Believes in harnessing financial resources to create a sustainable and equitable world.

• Possesses extensive experience in investment management and enjoys translating investment concepts into tangible outcomes.

• Experienced in portfolio construction, implementation, and exposure management.

• Comfortable navigating multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.

• Enjoys leveraging research, data, and evidence to enhance investment decision-making.

• Able to balance thorough analysis with practical decision-making in a dynamic environment.

• Develops strong relationships and communicates effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Holds a degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.

• A CFA or postgraduate qualification is a plus.

• A proven track record of successful portfolio management outcomes is advantageous.

• Experience in liquidity management and credit analysis is beneficial.

• Familiarity with index replication, active manager selection, or investment process design is desirable.

• Experience with sustainable or responsible investment frameworks is a plus.
