Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance our Azure architecture while maintaining our existing AWS infrastructure.

• Take ownership of Kubernetes (AKS) clusters in production, including upgrades and scaling operations.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across various environments.

• Facilitate developer enablement through the creation of templates, comprehensive documentation, and self-service tools.

• Engage in an on-call rotation and participate in production incident response efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering (DevOps, Cloud Architecture, SRE).

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Azure in a production environment, including compute, storage, networking, and serverless services.

• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies (Docker, Helm).

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code, with a preference for Terraform.

• Experience in designing and managing end-to-end CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps and/or GitHub).

• Strong command of at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Bash).

• Comprehensive understanding of cloud security best practices.
