Senior PHP/React Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and maintain applications utilizing PHP, Node.js, and React.

• Engage in full-stack solutions, linking backend, frontend, integrations, and business rules.

• Take part in technical and functional refinement meetings with the team.

• Independently investigate issues, even in cases with incomplete information.

• Suggest technical, architectural, and productivity enhancements.

• Utilize AI tools, particularly Claude, to aid in development, code analysis, documentation, and problem resolution.

• Assist the team in delivering solutions with quality, efficiency, and a focus on the product.

• Collaborate with Tech Leads, Engineering, Product, and business sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in full-stack development on production systems.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related disciplines.

• Strong expertise in backend development using PHP.

• Frontend proficiency with React.

• Familiarity with Node.js.

• Skilled in APIs, integrations, databases, and web application architecture.

• Capability to analyze legacy code, map business rules, and suggest enhancements.

• Adherence to best practices in version control, code review, testing, and technical documentation.

• Practical experience with AI in software development.

• Hands-on experience with Claude or similar generative AI tools applied to coding tasks.

• Experience with AWS and/or GCP.

• Knowledge of CI/CD, deployments, rollbacks, logging, and production environments.

• Understanding of containers, environment variables, and configuration management.

• Willingness to learn and occasionally work with new technologies.

• High degree of autonomy in investigating, learning, and resolving issues.
