Senior PHP Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable backend systems utilizing PHP, Node.js, and TypeScript

• Create and maintain APIs using REST, GraphQL, and gRPC

• Lead discussions on backend architecture and establish engineering standards

• Build systems from scratch and ensure the safe scaling of existing systems

• Implement event-driven architectures utilizing Kafka

• Collaborate with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and DynamoDB

• Deploy and manage services on AWS or GCP

• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate using Kubernetes

• Contribute to the development of AI-enabled products and design AI-ready backends

• Mentor developers and uphold backend best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in backend development

• Strong practical experience with PHP, Node.js, and TypeScript

• Proven track record in designing scalable and distributed systems

• Extensive expertise in REST, GraphQL, and gRPC API development

• Practical knowledge of AWS or GCP

• Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with Kafka or similar streaming platforms

• Robust database design and optimization skills in both relational and NoSQL databases

• Proven ability to lead architectural decisions and set backend standards
