Senior PHP Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance the extensive codebase that drives our billing and payments service.

• Connect with external billing-related services and integrate new payment gateways.

• Address production payment challenges and ensure the system remains reliable and secure.

• Design and evaluate software architecture for new payment functionalities.

• Execute hypotheses and conduct experiments to positively impact core business metrics.

• Develop tests and contribute to a well-maintained, high-quality codebase.

• Examine pertinent metrics to guide decisions and validate the results of experiments.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional programming experience.

• Proficient in PHP (versions 8.0–8.3) with production experience in Laravel.

• Familiarity with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

• Practical experience with Redis.

• Comfortable using Git and Docker in daily operations.

• Strong grasp of software architecture and design principles.

• Capability to evaluate task complexity, break down work, and prioritize efficiently.

• A mature, self-motivated attitude with the ability to take ownership of tasks and entire features from start to finish.

• Fluent in Ukrainian or Russian.
