Senior Pharmacovigilance Officer, Team Lead – Medical Device

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Lead the team responsible for managing ICSR for designated projects.

• Directly oversee ICSR staff.

• Allocate tasks and monitor workflow processes.

• Facilitate effective collaboration with clients in ICSR Management.

• Contribute towards achieving company goals and objectives.

• Assist project team activities on behalf of both clients and the organization.

• Develop and uphold project-specific KPIs for contracted ICSR activities.

• Enhance procedures, training, and initiatives to boost ICSR team efficiency.

• Suggest process improvements to the ICSR Operational Lead.

• Manage ICSR deviations with assistance from the ICSR Operational Lead.

• Review trackers and timesheet data to ensure accuracy.

• Engage in ICSR processing and perform second-level quality control of cases.

• Provide support to other departments as directed.

• Serve as the designated team subject matter expert.

• Offer assistance to the RA & PV Network Department as required.

• Act as LCPPV for the specified country and PRLS for the designated language when agreed upon with the line manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or possess another healthcare-related qualification, or experience in pharmacovigilance.

• Strong prior experience in pharmacovigilance is essential.

• At least 1 year of experience in a line management role.

• Experience with Medical Devices is required.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to multitask.

• Proficient delegation skills.

• Effective planning and time management capabilities.

• Possess technical skills.

• Strong team collaboration skills.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
