This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and develop Pega applications utilizing Pega Infinity, adhering to Enterprise Class Structure and reusable design methodologies.
• Spearhead the development of intricate case types, data models, user interface components, and business logic.
• Architect and execute integrations with external and legacy systems using REST, SOAP, Kafka, MQ, and Pega Connectors.
• Guide junior System Architects and perform code reviews.
• Maintain an exceptional Pega Guardrail Score of 90 or higher.
• Utilize Tracer, PAL, PLA, and DB Trace to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and establish RBAC and ABAC security configurations.
• Lead the implementation of Pega enterprise solutions from the initial concept through to production.
• Develop technical design documentation that encompasses application frameworks, class structures, and data models.
• Create scalable solutions by applying Pega best practices, ECS, and application layering techniques.
• Conduct architecture reviews to ensure compliance with enterprise standards and Pega guardrail requirements.
• Utilize reusable components and frameworks to expedite the development process.
• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification is essential.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience following CSSA certification.
• Demonstrated expertise in Pega PRPC development, with experience in versions 7.x/8.x at a minimum.
• Experience in complex case management, routing, SLAs, and escalation models.
• Capability to build integrations using REST, SOAP, MQ, and various connectivity protocols.
• Proficient in Pega Data Pages, Declare Expressions, Decision Rules, and Activities.
• Strong skills in Java, JavaScript, XML, and JSON.
• Knowledge of SQL and databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2.
• Familiarity with application servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and the design of reusable components.
• Solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles.
• Ability to effectively present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• SAFe certification is considered an advantage.
• Full software development lifecycle experience, from requirements gathering to production deployment.
• Experience in iterative development and continuous delivery practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Preferred experience in healthcare customer management, HIPAA compliance, healthcare payer/provider workflows, and government sector projects.
