This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Execute and validate payroll calculation procedures, including labor charges and social security contributions.
• Submit annual tax obligations and labor filings.
• Analyze payroll reports and provisions, including provisions for the 13th salary.
• Configure payroll events within the payroll system and carry out annual table updates.
• Assess and recommend improvements for the area, focusing on process automation.
• Act as the company representative (preposto) in labor proceedings, inspections, and audits.
• Analyze and generate management reports for leadership, audits, and inspections.
• Provide guidance to company leaders on labor legislation matters.
• Oversee payroll department processes, including payroll and charges (reporting results to controllership), hiring, terminations, timekeeping, hour bank management, leaves of absence, benefits, vacations, and international payroll.
• Manage and update information related to collective bargaining agreements with unions, while also handling labor relations tasks such as data collection and spreadsheet preparation.
• Serve as the main point of contact for employees regarding payroll and personnel inquiries.
• Offer support and direction to leaders on people strategy.
• Monitor existing automated processes in the area, identifying issues and implementing solutions.
• Schedule, request, and oversee updates to system databases (Senior and Production).
• Assist in evaluating vendors that provide employee benefits.
• Bachelor's degree completed or currently in progress in related fields.
• Proficient in Advanced Excel and MS Office.
• Understanding of payroll calculations, procedures, HR policies, and labor legislation.
• Experience with HR subsystems.
• Familiarity with the Senior system.
• Knowledge of HR process automation is a plus.
• Advanced/Fluent English is a plus.
