This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Identify, analyze, eliminate, and reduce threats to Desjardins's systems, networks, and applications.
• Simulate threats in response to the evolution of offensive techniques and threat actors.
• Design, develop, and implement offensive methodologies and tools.
• Mitigate risks associated with the deployment of offensive methodologies and tools.
• Adhere to strict processes and create new procedures to prepare the organization for cyberattacks.
• Lead and influence practitioners on development projects and innovative, complex strategic initiatives across multiple sectors.
• Simplify risks using clear language and engage stakeholders to enhance Desjardins's security posture.
• Develop and recommend strategic directions and business positions.
• Actively participate in the implementation of response plans.
• Lead large-scale development projects, initiatives, and activities with an organization-wide impact.
• Advise clients and partners on the positioning, planning, development, execution, and monitoring of strategic projects and initiatives.
• Develop and update policies, standards, models, methodologies, tools, and programs.
• Conduct strategic monitoring to detect emerging security issues.
• Identify and analyze issues, report significant problems, diagnose issues, and provide recommendations.
• Represent the unit before senior management committees and decision-making bodies.
• Represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins, establishing agreements with external partners and organizations.
• Serve as an expert advisor, subject matter expert, resource person, and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of eight years of pertinent experience.
• Alternative combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
• Advanced proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
• Intermediate advanced proficiency in English, both oral and written.
