Senior NodeJS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance services within our networking core.

• Create highly dependable systems for request processing, routing, load balancing, failover, and data streaming delivery.

• Contribute to the scalability, performance, and operational excellence of the platform.

• Collaborate directly with:

• - HTTP/1.1

• - HTTP/2

• - WebSocket

• - TLS

• - CONNECT tunneling

• - Compression technologies (gzip, brotli, zstd, deflate)

• Diagnose and resolve intricate networking issues in production settings.

• Implement tracing, metrics, and logging utilizing OpenTelemetry.

• Create dashboards and alerts generated straight from the code.

• Evaluate system behavior under load and enhance operational visibility.

• Maintain and extend runtime integrations with external web applications.

• Develop compatibility layers between internal systems and third-party clients.

• Write portable TypeScript code that is compatible with both Node.js and Bun runtimes.

• Ensure effective tree-shaking, modular design, and elimination of cyclic dependencies.

• Engage in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.

• Over 5 years of commercial experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Strong proficiency in Node.js development.

• In-depth knowledge of:

• Experience in designing and maintaining production-level services.

• Networking Knowledge

• Practical familiarity with:

• Ability to troubleshoot real-world networking challenges.

• Software Architecture

• Experience in designing modular systems with:

• Experience with:
