This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the strategy, design, and advancement of the enterprise WAN and SD-WAN ecosystem, providing resilient and scalable connectivity that underpins essential business operations across various geographical locations.
• Act as the technical authority on WAN architecture, promoting standards, governance, and modernization initiatives while influencing the future trajectory of the network platform.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to create transformative network solutions, address complex technical issues, and enhance performance, resiliency, and scalability at an enterprise level.
• High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of relevant cumulative job-specific experience required, including 2 years in a leadership or management role OR an Associate's or Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant cumulative job-specific experience required, including 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• More than 10 years of network engineering experience, with a minimum of 5 years in an architect-level WAN position.
• Expert-level proficiency with Cisco Meraki SD-WAN and Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN (Viptela).
• Extensive knowledge in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, route redistribution, policy control), WAN design, segmentation, traffic engineering, and large-scale SD-WAN architecture and deployment.
• Proven experience in designing and supporting large, geographically diverse networks.
• Demonstrated capability to function at both strategic and hands-on technical levels.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
• Advanced or specialist certifications are strongly preferred, such as Cisco CCNP Enterprise (or equivalent legacy certifications), Cisco SD-WAN Specialist/Concentration exams, and CCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure or equivalent) – highly preferred.
