Senior Network Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with our AWS infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency.

• Design and oversee all facets of our CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub) while offering automated solutions for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployment.

• Execute automation and observability initiatives across infrastructure resources.

• Contribute your innovative ideas for enhancing our infrastructure stack and implement them effectively.

• Participate in our operational rotation to respond to and resolve production incidents.

• Maintain and advance the foundational elements of our IaC Terraform codebase.

• Accountable for constructing, maintaining, and optimizing Amazon Load Balancers to ensure effective traffic distribution and high application availability.

• Configure and maintain Amazon CloudFront distributions to enhance content delivery and improve user experience.

• Formulate and develop governance policies for our cloud infrastructure.

• Maintain and enhance our CloudWan infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in infrastructure, reliability, networking, or software engineering.

• More than 6 years of experience in roles such as SRE, DevOps Engineer, Network Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar positions.

• Practical experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, ALB, S3, Route 53, and CloudFront.

• Proficient networking knowledge, covering TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, BGP, IPV6, along with hands-on experience with AWS Cloud WAN.

• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.

• In-depth understanding of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD, automation, and production operations.

• Strong Linux expertise and proficiency in Python, Bash, or another scripting/programming language.

• Proven track record of driving cross-functional projects from inception to delivery within Agile environments.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of troubleshooting complex distributed systems and network challenges.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams.
