Senior Network Security Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Contributing to ongoing projects by analyzing challenges and technical issues, providing solutions, and testing, modifying, automating, and integrating systems.

• Engaging in long-term strategic planning for IT infrastructure alongside operational execution.

• Managing both client expectations and internal obstacles.

• Actively participating throughout the entire project lifecycle while having the opportunity to collaborate closely with Architects, Technicians, and Project Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls, along with familiarity with Cisco firewalls and Checkpoint.

• Proven ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or configuration-related incidents across various network equipment.

• Experience in preparing Method of Procedure for configuration changes and adhering to Change Management processes.

• Hands-on experience and knowledge of Cisco and Palo Alto security products (Firewall & IPS) is a significant advantage.

• Proficient in Firewall and VPN troubleshooting.

• Responsible for leading any scheduled maintenance activities effectively.

• Capable of leading incident calls with OEM technical support and providing necessary inputs for restoration efforts.

• Resolve customer escalations and serve as a key Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Level 3 incidents.

• Experience in Global | Build and Manage | Technical skills/experience in enterprise IT applications.
