Remotery

Senior .Net Developer

Posted Jun 21

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the design of Eva's high-load services and enhance the current C# / .NET Core codebase.

• Develop new product features and integrations, including the AI layer (voice, real-time, and — on the horizon — video and emotion recognition).

• Design and manage asynchronous pipelines on RabbitMQ, focusing on delivery guarantees, idempotency, error handling, and backpressure.

• Work with MS SQL schema and queries under load by optimizing indexes, execution plans, and hot paths.

• Uphold high standards of code quality within the team through code reviews, testing, observability, and engineering standards; influence technical decisions that extend beyond your immediate scope.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of commercial experience in C# / .NET development, with at least 2 years working with .NET Core in a production environment.

• Practical experience in distributed systems and high-load scenarios: able to analyze throughput, latency, and fault tolerance through specific incidents from personal experience rather than theoretical knowledge.

• Hands-on experience with message brokers (preferably RabbitMQ; Kafka / Azure Service Bus / NATS considered acceptable with a proven high-load track record) and MS SQL Server under demanding conditions.

• Proficient in Russian and willing to work within CET (±2) time zone.

🏝️ Benefits

• REMOTE OPPORTUNITY for full-time work.

• 28 calendar days of vacation each year.

• 7 wellness days annually (time off) to address personal matters or to recover without needing to take sick leave.

• Bonuses up to $5000 for successfully recommending applicants for positions within the company.

• 50% reimbursement for professional training, international conferences, and meetings.

• Corporate discount on English language lessons.

• Health benefits: for those ineligible for corporate medical insurance, the company offers compensation of up to $1,000 gross annually per employee, which can be used for purchasing health insurance or for medical expenses for oneself and close relatives (spouse, children).

• Workplace organization: the company provides all employees with a well-equipped workspace and necessary equipment (desk, chair, Wi-Fi, etc.) at our offices or co-working locations. For remote locations, the company reimburses workplace expenses up to $1,000 gross every three years, based on paychecks. This can be used for co-working space rent or home office setup (desk, chair, internet, etc.) during those three years.

• An internal gamified gratitude system: earn bonuses from colleagues and exchange them for merchandise, team-building activities, massage vouchers, and more.
