📋 Description

• We are looking for a Senior Developer to design, create, and maintain high-quality software solutions.

• Engage in developing software plans and strategies.

• Design, create, and sustain scalable, high-performance software applications.

• Collaborate with a team to write specific segments of the program.

• Integrate all components of the program design and conduct tests to ensure that sample data sets produce the expected output.

• Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.

• Enhance the performance of existing software applications.

• Suggest improvements to current software programs when necessary.

• Work alongside architects, product managers, and fellow developers to establish technical requirements and system design.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold coding standards.

• Create and manage RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications.

• Optimize application performance while ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments and automation.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum development teams, engaging in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Stay informed on emerging technologies, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

• Experience in developing and implementing algorithms is essential.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance is required.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are necessary for client interaction, documentation, and reporting duties.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) along with eight (8)+ years of software development experience is required.

• Eight years of additional relevant experience may substitute for education.

• Proficiency in developing solutions using programming languages such as .NET (backend development), Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, and others.

• Experience with X.12 Medical Claims Processing (835, 837, 277, 275, etc.) is required.

• Background in back-end development, including modern frameworks (e.g., .NET).

• Proficient in database management (SQL, RBS, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases).

• Strong understanding of AWS and/or MS Azure cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience in RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and distributed systems is necessary.

• Strong working knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).

• Preference for candidates with experience using GitHub Co-pilot.

• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.

• Attention to detail and strong customer service skills are preferred.

• Experience in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment is advantageous.

• Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD environments is important.

• Knowledge of software configuration management tools like Git, Subversion, and Jira is required.

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite is expected.

• Experience with Jira for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) is essential.

• Ability to create logical and functional software code in various languages, primarily using .NET and Python.

• Experience in understanding and articulating the benefits and risks associated with different coding languages in various functional environments is necessary.

• Capability to respond to issues and correct the program as needed is required.

• Experience in a fast-paced, Agile development environment is critical.

• Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions is essential.
