Senior Motion Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Create, present, and implement innovative concepts that adhere to project briefs, bringing storyboards to life through animation, video, typography, sound, and AI-enhanced content.

• Produce engaging, high-caliber visual stories for social media, product updates, original AI launches, new features, and artwork releases specifically within Asian markets.

• Consistently brainstorm new ideas, ensuring content remains captivating, pertinent, and in line with brand objectives.

• Guide and mentor junior designers, taking ownership of projects from inception to delivery while upholding the highest quality standards.

• Effectively manage timelines and resources, ensuring all deliverables are completed on schedule, within budget, and surpass expectations.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including writers, editors, producers, and client managers, through proactive communication to translate creative concepts into actionable deliverables.

• Remain informed about emerging trends, experiment with cutting-edge tools, and challenge creative limits to maintain innovative and forward-thinking work.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-5+ years of professional experience, ideally as a freelancer or in an agency setting.

• Strong proficiency in animation, editing, and visual storytelling techniques.

• Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and basic sound design skills.

• Outstanding video editing capabilities: quick, accurate, and detail-oriented.

• Experience in leading motion design projects and providing support or guidance to creative teams.

• Ability to adapt to various visual styles, formats, and project specifications.

• Strong, proactive communication skills, able to convey ideas clearly to teams and clients.

• Genuine interest in emerging technologies and AI-driven creative tools.

• Comfort in navigating uncertainty, transforming vague ideas into clear and actionable plans.
