Senior Mortgage Originator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Engage with clients to comprehend their financial goals and assist them throughout the mortgage application process with meticulous attention to detail.

• Evaluate client financial profiles, including income, credit history, and debt responsibilities, to ascertain eligibility and suggest appropriate loan options.

• Inform clients about various loan programs, terms, and rates available, ensuring they make well-informed decisions that align with their long-term financial objectives.

• Collaborate with internal teams to accelerate loan processing and guarantee timely closings.

• Uphold the confidentiality and security of client information at all times, complying with stringent privacy policies and regulatory standards.

• Foster enduring relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and ongoing support throughout the loan lifecycle.

• Keep updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to offer precise and current guidance to clients.

• Engage in business development efforts, networking events, and community activities to boost visibility and create new business opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience as a Loan Originator or Mortgage Loan Officer, with a proven history of successfully closing loans.

• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach to service delivery.

• Detail-oriented with robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with mortgage origination software and tools is preferred.

• NMLS licensing as required.
