Senior Mobile Developer – iOS/Android

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the development of user-facing components for the next iterations of Scruff and Jack’d.

• Implement clean architecture utilizing dependency injection (Koin/Swinject), modular design, and functional & reactive programming (RxJava/Combine).

• Create modern user interfaces using a live style guide alongside Jetpack Compose/SwiftUI.

• Participate in test-driven and behavior-driven development, beginning with the ViewModel layer.

• Collaborate within an agile team that includes Product, Design, Support, and Marketing to address user needs.

• Deliver end-to-end solutions, covering design, requirements, coding, refactoring, delivery, and maintenance.

• Foster effective communication through pair and mob programming in a global team environment.

• Expand your skills and knowledge in additional technologies such as Kotlin, React, and/or Ruby on Rails.

• Leverage the latest AI coding technologies to enhance learning and development processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in software development.

• More than 4 years of experience in developing iOS or Android applications.

• Familiarity with design and architecture patterns.

• In-depth knowledge of GitHub and git-driven development practices.

• Willingness to learn about and improve productivity using AI-powered coding tools.

• Strong understanding of usability and product design for mobile applications.

• Demonstrated sense of ownership, ability to work autonomously, and a successful history of driving product initiatives.

• Experience in shipping consumer iOS or Android applications, preferably available in app stores.

• Proficiency in creating testable and maintainable mobile architectures.
