Senior Mobile Developer – Focus on Information Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms utilizing Flutter.

• Design technology solutions that align with business requirements and adhere to information security best practices.

• Fulfill the requirements set by the Product Owner (both business and technical), ensuring that acceptance criteria are met.

• Assist in and oversee the deployment of applications from testing/homologation to production.

• Ensure compliance with agile methodologies and established development standards.

• Implement and uphold mobile application security best practices (e.g., OWASP Mobile).

• Conduct code reviews that emphasize security and code quality.

• Perform security tests and aid in identifying and addressing vulnerabilities.

• Maintain and enhance existing applications, resolving defects and suggesting improvements.

• Develop and sustain secure development standards and documentation for mobile applications.

• Contribute to the spread of security knowledge within the team.

• Work collaboratively with product, engineering, and business teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis and Development, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in mobile development for both Android and iOS.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Flutter.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks.

• Understanding of mobile application security, specifically the OWASP Mobile Security Project.

• Experience with authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT).

• Knowledge of secure practices for consuming RESTful APIs.

• Understanding of cryptography as it applies to mobile applications.

• Proficiency in version control systems like Git or GitHub.

• Intermediate proficiency in English for technical reading purposes.
