Senior Mobile Developer, Flutter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop Flutter modules utilizing the Add-to-App model to facilitate smooth communication between Dart and Native SDKs.

• Collaborate closely with the backend team to integrate with the Java-based microservices architecture through a REST API.

• Implement and oversee integrations with Smart POS payment terminals, receipt printers, and barcode scanners within the native Android/iOS environments.

• Create modules for POS Sales & Billing, B2B Marketplace, AI companion, Banking, and Inventory Management.

• Construct pixel-perfect user interfaces from Figma, tailored for large tap targets and efficient multitasking in bustling convenience stores.

• Design and deploy a robust local storage solution using SQLite to ensure seamless app functionality even with intermittent internet connectivity.

• Set and uphold best practices, perform code reviews, and maintain high-quality standards across the entire mobile codebase.

• Work in conjunction with the Product Manager and Backend team to synchronize on features, timelines, and technical specifications.

• Focus intently on app performance, ensuring a swift, fluid, and crash-free user experience, which is essential in a retail transaction setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in mobile development, with extensive expertise in Flutter.

• Proficient in hardware integration (POS terminals, printers) and native mobile development (Android/Kotlin).

• Demonstrated experience with Flutter’s Add-to-App feature and native development (Kotlin/Android or Swift/iOS).

• Strong grasp of state management, API integration (REST), and local database (SQLite) implementation in a mobile setting.

• Capable of planning and taking ownership of tasks, delivering high-quality work, and meeting deadlines independently.

• Familiarity with Flutter Integration Tests to ensure that hardware-sensitive workflows remain functional.

• Proficient in English, with Spanish as a significant advantage.
