Senior Mobile Developer – Android, Kotlin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• We are seeking a Senior Android Kotlin Mobile Developer to create high-performance native applications, emphasizing seamless user experiences and strong integrations. With a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience, you will engage in the architecture of complex applications (e.g., POS systems, fiscal receipts), performance enhancements, and provide technical mentorship.

• Design and implement MVVM architectures utilizing Koin, Jetpack Compose, and dynamic modularization.

• Develop sophisticated integrations (Retrofit, SOAP/REST web services, Firebase, push notifications).

• Optimize performance and conduct bottleneck analyses.

• Ensure an offline-first methodology using Room, WorkManager, and caching/synchronization strategies.

• Lead code reviews, refactorings, and migrations (e.g., XML to Compose, Kotlin Multiplatform).

• Implement security measures (biometrics, encryption, certificates) and ensure accessibility (Material 3).

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, establish standards, and contribute to mobile CI/CD (Gradle).

• Monitor applications using Crashlytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in native Android development with advanced Kotlin skills.

• Strong proficiency in Jetpack (Compose, ViewModel, Navigation, Coroutines/Flow).

• Experience with real-world integrations (fiscal APIs/NF-e, POS systems, payment solutions).

• Proven experience in architecture (Clean Architecture/MVVM) and automated testing.

• Experience in publishing applications to the Play Store and optimizing for a diverse range of devices.

• Proficient in using Kotlin for shared logic.

• Familiarity with Firebase and advanced security measures (OAuth, certificates).
