Dev Android Tech Lead – Segmento Financeiro

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead the Android team technically in initiatives related to Digital Onboarding, ensuring quality, consistency, and reliability in deliveries;

• Serve as a technical reference, supporting the team's development through mentoring, continuous feedback, code reviews, and technical guidance;

• Collaborate effectively with Product, UX, QA, Architecture, and other stakeholders, balancing technical and business needs;

• Engage in the upstream flow of initiatives, contributing to technical decisions aligned with functional and non-functional requirements as well as business value;

• Ensure continuous monitoring, observability, stability, and tracking of the technical health metrics of the product;

• Participate in defining and evolving technical solutions, contributing to low-level architectural designs (C3/C4) and aligning with high-level definitions;

• Support the team's operational flow by removing technical impediments and aligning dependencies between teams;

• Conduct technical root cause analysis of critical incidents, leading structural solutions and continuous improvement actions;

• Actively contribute to discussions on the technical roadmap and the evolution of the organization's mobile ecosystem;

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience with Kotlin and native Android development;

• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Navigation, ViewModel, Coroutines, and Flow;

• Familiarity with modern architectures such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modularization;

• Expertise in developing scalable, secure, high-performance, and easily maintainable solutions;

• Experience in designing technical solutions and architectural definitions for mobile applications;

• Knowledge of architectural diagrams and modeling solutions at different abstraction levels (C3/C4);

• Consistent application of software engineering best practices, including Clean Code, Design Patterns, code review, and organizational standards;

• Experience with building and integrating REST APIs, authentication, versioning, and decoupled communication;

• Knowledge in modeling and integrating with relational and non-relational databases;

• Familiarity with cloud-native concepts, containerization, and continuous integration;

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and delivery automation;

• Experience with automated testing, code quality analysis, and application telemetry;

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Firebase, Crashlytics, logs, metrics, and tracing;

• Knowledge of mobile security, cryptography, and best practices for critical applications;

• Ability to operate in complex environments, collaborating with different stakeholders while balancing business value and technical sustainability of solutions;
