Senior ML Engineer – LLMs, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bosnia and Herzegovina, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop machine learning models from the ground up or enhance current models.

• Work in conjunction with the engineering team, data scientists, and product managers on production-level models.

• Create a roadmap for experimentation.

• Establish a reproducible experimentation environment and oversee experimentation pipelines.

• Supervise and sustain ML models in production to guarantee peak performance.

• Produce clear and detailed documentation for ML models, processes, and pipelines.

• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ML and AI, proposing innovative solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with standard ML algorithms and their mathematical foundations.

• Significant hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) in production, RAG architecture, and agentic systems.

• Experience with AWS Bedrock is highly preferred.

• Practical experience in addressing classification and regression tasks, along with feature engineering.

• Proven experience with ML models in a production environment.

• Direct experience with one or more use cases including NLP, LLMs, and recommendation engines.

• Strong software engineering capabilities (i.e., ability to create well-structured modules, not just notebook scripts).

• Expertise in Python and Docker.

• Proficient in English at a strong upper-intermediate level.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
