This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver engineering assistance and solutions to a data science team concentrated on high-throughput, low-latency LLM inferencing.
• Facilitate LLM post-training and data engineering in alignment with stringent evaluations.
• Innovate using cutting-edge machine learning technologies to enhance data science initiatives.
• Support dynamic research and development teams.
• Create high-quality solutions for customer-oriented applications at scale.
• Evaluate potential vulnerabilities or shortcomings.
• Build and maintain data pipelines.
• Aid in the training and implementation of custom models.
• Collaborate across various teams to identify and devise effective solutions.
• Employ best practices for code quality, testing, logging, and metrics.
• Enhance product architecture, knowledge models, user experience, performance, and reliability.
• Develop, test, deploy, and monitor changes from start to finish.
• Mentor fellow engineers while learning from teammates.
• Support CrowdStrike's mission of empowering enterprise users to interact safely and securely with AI applications.
• Previous experience in data engineering and architecture supporting sophisticated data science applications.
• In-depth knowledge of LLM post-training techniques and computational architectures.
• Familiarity with scalability and distributed systems, encompassing sharding, partitioning, and concurrency.
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering best practices, testing paradigms, peer code reviews, and resilient architecture.
• Capability to excel in a test-driven, collaborative, and iterative programming environment.
• Proficiency in delivering high-quality, unit-tested, code-reviewed software regularly checked in for continuous integration.
• Proven track record of utilizing AI technologies to improve decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and drive business results.
• Strong interest in CrowdStrike's cybersecurity mission and readiness to engage with product teams and customers.
• Strong capacity for learning.
• Experience with a high-level programming language such as JVM technologies or Python.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or MaaS.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Cassandra, and Spark.
• Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Chef, or Ansible.
• Experience in scaling inference across GPUs or GPU clusters.
