This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Take charge of the daily cross-functional operational readiness of VA’s enterprise Microsoft Power Platform along with related program support.
• Oversee security, user management, roles, profiles, groups, queues, and other configuration options.
• Engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Connect Power Automate flows with Microsoft Azure App gateways and APIM deployments.
• Develop Power Apps and Power Platform solutions while sharing insights with both pro-developers and citizen developers.
• Incorporate business strategy and software capability expertise into product direction.
• Provide training and support to end users, serving as an escalation point for internal issues.
• Analyze trends and anticipate future needs to enhance customer service and experience.
• Design and architect Power Platform tenants and environments.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, and other technical teams to fulfill integration requirements.
• Work alongside cross-functional technology and design teams to ensure cohesive client interaction and solution delivery.
• Manage Azure subscriptions and assist with Azure deployments.
• Create and implement Power Platform/D365 solutions that meet customer expectations.
• Sustain services integrated with cloud environments, proprietary systems, and external integrations.
• Participate in the enterprise Microsoft Power Platform program to shape the roadmap and address program gaps.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required, or at least 8 years of equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of help desk or customer service experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform or D365 platform administration.
• At least 5 years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform or D365 development.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in computer skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Must be eligible to obtain a government security clearance.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable internet connection to support effective telecommuting.
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Platform model-driven and canvas app solutions.
• Experience in architecting and designing Power Platform tenants and environments.
• Familiarity with Azure subscription management and Azure deployments.
• Preferred certifications or a willingness to pursue: PL-100, PL-200, MB-901, PL/MB-600, PL-400, PL-900.
