Senior MICE Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee MICE inquiries from the initial quotation stage to final confirmation.

• Create comprehensive itineraries, quotations, and financial estimates.

• Coordinate accommodations, transportation, venues, activities, and events.

• Communicate with suppliers and negotiate advantageous rates.

• Generate operational documentation and manage the handover of confirmed bookings.

• Provide support to groups during travel and significant events.

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure smooth execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in luxury travel reservations.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in MICE, incentives, or large group reservations.

• Prior experience with a Southern African Destination Management Company.

• In-depth knowledge of South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Namibia.

• Proven experience in managing intricate multi-country itineraries.

• Strong skills in costing, quoting, and negotiation.

• Familiarity with Travel Studio and WETU is a plus.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
