Senior Medical Writer – Medical Information

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Act as the main writer responsible for creating and contributing to routine deliverables, including medical information documents, publications, and clinical study materials.

• Produce intricate medical and scientific documents, such as AMCP dossiers, infographics, slide presentations, manuscripts, and study documents for complex programs.

• Evaluate documents generated by team members.

• May offer training and mentorship to medical writers and new employees.

• Ensure adherence to relevant SOPs, work instructions, quality processes, and document requirements.

• Contribute to and independently establish best practices for achieving optimal outcomes, including various client-specific processes.

• May serve as a project lead or assist with program management tasks, which could involve developing timelines, budgets, forecasts, and contract amendments; tracking deliverable metrics; and representing the medical writing team in client meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• PharmD degree.

• Prior experience that equips the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the role (equivalent to 5+ years).

• Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.

• Additional qualifications in medical writing or medical information are advantageous.

• Exceptional data interpretation and medical writing abilities, including grammar, editorial, and proofreading skills.

• Capability to interpret and present complex data clearly and concisely.

• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.

• Strong administrative, attention to detail, organizational, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Robust project management skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
