This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Perform evaluations of inpatient medical records.
β’ Recognize absent, ambiguous, and/or incomplete elements.
β’ Convey the necessity for supplementary documentation to clinical providers.
β’ Collaborate with various departments to enhance documentation quality.
β’ Deliver data reports and educational assistance regarding documentation components.
β’ Assist in initiatives aimed at improving documentation quality by caregivers.
β’ Educational qualifications include RN, BSN, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, CIC, CCDS, or CDIP.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of CDI experience and 1 year in nursing, inpatient coding, UM, CM, Quality, or a related area.
β’ Expertise in data analysis, detailed data presentation, and clinical documentation.
β’ Strong clinical understanding and capability to identify diagnoses.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of disease processes and clinical outcomes.
β’ Familiarity with EXCEL, Word, and PowerPoint.
β’ Advanced understanding of healthcare regulations.
β’ Exceptional communication abilities.
β’ Proficient computer skills, including typing capability.
