This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Create and execute a scientific engagement strategy for the Long Island region that aligns with Medical Affairs objectives and goals.
β’ Facilitate two-way, non-promotional scientific dialogue with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs).
β’ Build and nurture relationships with community and academic healthcare professionals as well as key opinion leaders.
β’ Utilize MSL tools and insights to plan customer interactions and pinpoint gaps, risks, and opportunities.
β’ Employ AI tools and insights to enhance decision-making, processes, efficiency, and outcomes.
β’ Assess provider educational needs and provide customized, scientifically sound responses.
β’ Communicate complex clinical evidence through clear, effective, and stakeholder-appropriate scientific discussions.
β’ Gather, consolidate, and distribute actionable insights to guide medical strategy, asset planning, and cross-functional conversations.
β’ Assist investigators and internal partners with company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.
β’ Address unsolicited research and clinical inquiries with objective, compliant information.
β’ Implement Medical Affairs strategies and MSL priorities, adapting plans in response to evolving data and priorities.
β’ Collaborate compliantly with MSL colleagues, R&D, US and Global Medical Affairs, clinical operations, Sales, and Marketing.
β’ Maintain scientific knowledge through self-directed study, journal clubs, seminars, congresses, and peer discussions.
β’ Promote inclusion and belonging both internally and externally.
β’ Stay informed about regulatory, healthcare compliance, corporate conduct, and Medical Affairs policies.
β’ Create a performance and development plan and undertake leadership projects with the manager.
β’ Fulfill administrative duties, including expense reporting and activity documentation.
β’ A Doctorate-level degree or equivalent experience is required, including PharmD, PhD, MD, or Advanced Practice Provider qualification.
β’ Postgraduate experience is necessary for doctoral-level candidates, ideally with therapeutic clinical experience.
β’ Over 2 years of relevant experience, demonstrating success as an MSL.
β’ Strong expertise in scientific and therapeutic areas.
β’ Proficiency in research, data analysis, clinical expertise, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.
β’ Capacity to support a designated territory with up to 70% travel.
β’ Must possess a valid US Driverβs License.
β’ Residency or fellowship is preferred.
β’ Knowledge or experience in the relevant therapeutic area is advantageous.
β’ Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot, computers, and remote technologies.
β’ Commitment to learning and utilizing emerging technologies, such as AI.
β’ Relevant clinical, research, or pharmaceutical work experience is required.
