
Senior Medical Science Liaison – Immunology and Targeted Therapy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Serve as the main point of contact within the designated geographic region.
• Maintain expertise in clinical and scientific aspects of oncology and immunotherapy, specifically focusing on standards of care for CCA and HCC treatment.
• Participate in informed, compliant, and thorough scientific exchanges regarding our client’s pipeline with key opinion leaders (KOLs).
• Create and monitor KOL engagement strategies.
• Work collaboratively with the R&D Team to assist sites and investigators involved in clinical trials.
• Execute KOL profiling activities prior to product launch.
• Represent our client at medical conferences through coverage of the Medical Affairs’ Scientific Booth.
• An advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA) is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of prior MSL experience is required, including a minimum of 1 year in rare diseases, oncology (and/or immunology) with knowledge of targeted therapies.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and 3 years in rare diseases, oncology (and/or immunology) is necessary for the Senior MSL role.
• Experience in GI Cancer Therapy is highly preferred.
• Previous product launch experience is essential.
• Ability to analyze and present scientific data effectively to engage KOLs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Willingness to travel frequently (70%) with overnight stays is essential.
