Senior Medical School Admissions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with aspiring medical school candidates to help them recognize opportunities for enhancing their profiles and crafting persuasive application documents.

• Cultivate relationships with applicants and their families while offering strategic and tactical advice on medical school choices, essays, resumes, recommendations, interviews, and the entire admissions process.

• Identify the best medical programs and schools for each student; offer constructive feedback and guidance on their research regarding university offerings and pertinent admissions resources, ensuring alignment with the student's background and aspirations.

• Assist students with project planning, managing application timelines, and tracking progress through internal organizational tools.

• Keep informed about the medical school admissions landscape and programs to counsel prospective and current clients on suitable school selections and the intricacies of the application process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Admissions Committee Experience: Must have served on a medical school admissions committee or board, with experience in reviewing applications and making decisions on acceptance and rejection, providing valuable insights into the selection process.

• Must possess an MD or DO degree.

• 5–7 years of experience in education, coaching, tutoring, and/or medical school admissions consulting.

• A strong passion for coaching.

• Excellent planning and organizational capabilities.

• Proficient English reading, writing, and editing skills, particularly in crafting medical school essays and personal statements.

• Strong verbal communication abilities.

• Expertise in project management and applicant tracking.
